People assume that because I’m a nutrition coach I don’t have the same struggles as everyone else. This of course isn’t one bit true! Sweets have and always will be a love of mine! Sometimes yes I just indulge and eat the delicious cake, cookies etc. but most often I try to reserve those moments for special occasions or nights out with my kids or my hubby. When those sweet cravings hit hard and I’m trying to avoid eating an entire tray of brownies…. well I try to find some balance! Here’s an easy recipe for chocolate oats. Steel cut oats are a great source of quality carbs so give this a try.
1/4cup steel cut oats
1 Tablespoon Almond butter
1 spoonful of unsweetened coconut flakes
1 Tablespoon Enjoy Life dark chocolate chips
So easy and taste amazing!
